- anyone else not able to watch women's tennis because of all the grunting? they need to take it down a notch and just hit the ball.

hahah i was there. Decemberadio tore that place to pieces they did an amazing show. but when we saw michael tait we were blown away we thought it was just some odd guest singer choice. little did we know he was in training. he messed up some words but it was all good. Peter was laughing everyone was having a great time. my best wishes to tait and the newsboys as well with the new line up!!!

Tait is actually a good fit for the Newsboys. His vocal stylings in this song are similar to his in “Burn”.

Well, Peter’s going to stay on as a songwriter/producer. He just feels that it’s time to move into a different role after 20 years on the road, which is completely understandable. But this could be big. I’ve always loved Michael Tait ever since I first heard him. And with the Newsboys? Stick a guy who was part of an iconic Christian group in the 90’s – and has some serious pipes to boot – into another iconic Christian band? The magnitude of this is just mind-blowing.

Sorry, this is the best quality I could get out of my videos…the bass was really loud at the concert, so it was difficult to get good sound. Yes, Michael has been on tour with the Newsboys, but only making a guest appearance for two songs with the band, not performing solo.

Absolutely! I thought it was cool that they brought him out, since it seems it’s been quite a few years since he last sang with them! (The Thrive DVD comes to mind)
